There will be a great number of gigs across the country, winding up with New Year's Eve 2003 in San Francisco. As soon as the itinerary is set, it is posted here in our Touring Calendar! Look for details of our European tour in July of 2003. ######################################################################################################### **IRS APPROVES TAX EXEMPTION
On February 27, 2002, we received final approval from the Internal Revenue Service as an 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. It was a protracted struggle that went on for nearly six months, but it's done. Thanks to our attorneys at Paul Weiss: Ron Billingsley, Michele Kron, and Sandra Nay. This means we can now accept donations on a tax deductible basis. So
all of you who have just been waiting for this news to make a contribution, the

The number is 866-841-9139 x 1584 ########################################################################################################## **SEARCHING FOR A HOME With the change in mayor in NYC came a change in the city's decision to vacate the building that houses the Museum of the City of New York. Mayor Bloomberg has indicated vigorously that the Museum will not be moving downtown, but staying put. Obviously, this puts an end to our plans to take over that structure. We have been in close communication with several people and organizations in upper Manhattan to seek out an alternative arrangement and there are a number of very promising possibilities. If you have any ideas, please be sure to share them with us. ######################################################################################################## **CALLOWAY CENTER BOARD EXPANDS Welcome aboard to the Calloway Center's two new Board members, Barbara Salander and Joel Martin. Barbara is a Professor of Art History and Human Development. Joel is a fabulous pianist and successful entrepreneur. We are very pleased to have Barbara and Joel join us and know that they will make outstanding contributions to the work of the Center as we move along. ####################################################################################################### That's it for now!
